The below posts were written in 2005 and 2006, largely during a year studying abroad in Málaga, Spain as I pursued a Philosophy/International Relations double major from Hendrix College. During this time period I stood up several blogs (Drivelblog.com and ThatMatt.com) and had a significant and growing interest in technology. This was the era of Web 2.0. Some links and/or images may have been updated or removed based on whether or not they've survived along with the text.

These writings reflect the thoughts of an early-20s student, and I hope they are read through that lens.
